Principal

Tony joined Montgomery Sisam in 2006, becoming a Principal in 2016. With his ability to effectively coordinate the work of large multi-disciplinary teams, work under tight time constraints and make informed decisions quickly, Tony is exemplary of the exceptional standard of customer service this office delivers. He works to carefully balance project needs and client objectives without compromise.

Tony’s extensive and varied body of work includes many notable projects, among them the University of Toronto Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the York School North and South Campuses and the phased redevelopment of Kipling Acres. Blending management skills with comprehensive industry knowledge, he ensures a seamless transition between design and construction.

Fundamental to Tony’s experience is a strong, ongoing working relationship with the City of Toronto. For over 10 years, he has played a key role on hundreds of city-led initiatives, including the City of Toronto Long Term Care Homes and Services Division Capital Project portfolio, Kipling Acres Redevelopment and the George Street Revitalization. Having gained invaluable expertise navigating complex municipal requirements and approval processes, Tony is assisting public and private clients in Toronto develop buildings and urban conditions that support renewed vitality, growth and opportunity in the city.

Through his studies across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States, Tony has developed a strong design sensibility and is committed, regardless of scale or budget, to delivering high-quality architecture.
