Magdaleen Bahour is a registered Architect and Associate at Montgomery Sisam Architects. She brings expertise in detail-oriented design, building science, and sustainable strategies, supported by experience across long-term care, retirement living, education, and campus planning. Her work reflects a commitment to creating architecture that enhances daily life and experiences while integrating technical rigor and design excellence.

Since joining Montgomery Sisam in 2021, Magdaleen has played a pivotal role in advancing several complex projects, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage intricate tasks and relationships. Her versatility allows her to take on a range of responsibilities – from project management and coordination to exterior envelope detailing and contract administration -bringing flexibility and depth to every assignment. She is widely recognized for her reliability and collaborative approach, as well as her capacity to anticipate and respond to diverse project needs, ensuring smooth delivery and strong outcomes for clients and teams alike.

Magdaleen’s practice is informed by a deep interest in how architecture shapes human experience and by a passion for passive sustainable design that does not compromise aesthetic quality. She has published research on living walls and acoustic comfort and is proficient in advanced building simulation tools such as THERM and WUFI.

Magdaleen is deeply committed to continuous learning and professional development. She is currently pursuing PMP certification and regularly attends workshops and lecture series on topical issues in the building industry, including most recently Neuroscience & Architecture: Designing with the User in Mind (2023), reflecting her interest in evidence-based, user-centered design.
