Magdaleen joined Montgomery Sisam in 2021 with over four years of professional experience. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise gleaned from a diverse portfolio of projects, including retirement homes, day cares, schools, and university campus master planning.
Magdaleen’s strengths include a focus on detail-oriented design, excellent organizational skills, and informed decision making. Her area of interest is passive sustainable design without compromising architectural aesthetic or design excellence, and she has extensive experience in building sciences, including a publication on living walls and acoustic comfort.
At Montgomery Sisam, Magdaleen has taken on the role of Job Captain for the Glen Hill Gardens LTC and ArchCorp Orleans LTC & Retirement Home projects, in which she has contributed to all stages of the design process, organizing the internal activities of the project team, coordinating with consultants, and actively engaging with the clients’ project management teams. She has also assisted with contract administration for the St. Anne’s School Renovation, and has contributed to other ArchCorp LTC projects. She is proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, as well as various building simulation software such as THERM and WUFI.
Magdaleen is a registered architect with the OAA and is a LEED Green Associate.
