Associate

Janouque is an Associate at Montgomery Sisam. She joined in 2020 with nearly 15 years’ experience as a licensed architect and impressive portfolio of projects in recreation and wellness, higher education, civic infrastructure and market housing. These last 10 years, she specialized in urban situated aquatic facilities, community centres and sport facilities, located in both Canada and abroad.

Janouque regularly demonstrates strong design sensibility and technical proficiency, facility managing multiple, large stakeholder groups, and knowledge of complex, environmentally sustainable design. At Montgomery Sisam, she has assumed a major role on several long-term care projects, including Project Manager for several homes for Arch Corp. Able to listen and communicate effectively with project participants, nurture knowledge-building and growth within the design team, and make informed decisions quickly in the best interest of the clients, Janouque is well suited to this role.

Janouque is passionate about creating elegant design solutions that speak to universal design, weaving ideas of accessibility and inclusion into every day spaces for a more equitable and socially sustainable future. And she believes in sharing her knowledge and experience with others, serving as a mentor to many aspiring architects through the OAA Internship in Architecture Program.
