Stela Ambridge

Stela joined Montgomery Sisam in 2020 with 7 years professional experience in Toronto, Kingston, and Vancouver, providing a full range of architectural services for projects of varying scopes and scales. This body of work is largely focused in the education sector, comprising of several additions, renovations and new builds for elementary schools, secondary schools, and offices. Stela is a licensed architect.
With strong communication, meticulous organization and creative problem-solving skills, Stela is highly adept at facilitating collaborative work structures and streamlining workflows. She has assisted on a number of Extendicare Canada projects, including three new builds in Kingston, Stittsville, and Peterborough. Stela is committed in her work to developing client-focused design solutions. Her approach is to consider a project and its specifics holistically, and find a critical path forward that responds to these specifics within the greater design vision. She continues to look for new opportunities to learn and grow in her role.
Stela’s work in architecture is informed by her interests in placemaking and using both architectural and urban design strategies to translate cultural and spatial narratives into meaningful environments.
