Linnea joined Montgomery Sisam as an intern in 2018, participating in the preparation of design documents for the Peel Manor Seniors Health and Wellness. She returned in 2020 after receiving her Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto and has since resumed her work in seniors’ supportive housing. She was named an associate in 2023.
Linnea has assisted on both the Amica Islington Village and Amica Queen’s Park projects. She is currently serving as Job Captain for both the Golden Manor Long-term Care Home and Fairvern Long-term Care Home teams. These two projects are among a select few implementing the innovative small house model. Linnea is playing an integral role in the analysis required to make this model work within the provincial long-term care design constraints. She is also leveraging her proficiency in Revit and experience developing new workflows to facilitate the design phase, using custom families and schedules to track the functional program and test new ideas against the site, building, and program parameters.
Linnea is a LEED Accredited Professional with a speciality in building design and construction. Her work is inspired by her interests in public housing and new models of collective living.
