Wesley joined Montgomery Sisam in 2022 with extensive experience in clinical planning and project management for both conventional and P3 healthcare projects in acute care, mental health, women’s health, children’s treatment, and complex continuing care. He is knowledgeable in all phases of design and delivery, seeing projects from kick-off through IFC and into contract administration. His familiarity with P3 projects extends to both the PDC and Project Co.
Since joining MSA, Wesley has supported several eminent office projects, including the CHEO 1Door4Care P3 pursuit and the new North York General Hospital Long-term Care Home. He demonstrates a strong understanding of and fluency in large and complex projects and their management. He believes in working closely with each organization to understand their operation objectives and optimizing design solutions to best support them. Wesley is particularly skilled in stakeholder engagement, communicating clearly and effectively with different user groups to identify their respective needs and requirements. He is deeply invested in learning how buildings can best serve their occupants, whether they are patients, family members, visitors, volunteers, caregivers, administrators, or members of the facilities team.
Wesley is a licensed architect in the state of Michigan, registered with the American Institute of Architects. He is also a Certified LEED Green Associate. And he has a strong understanding of evidence-based design principles and practices with a particular interest in exploring new discoveries in and approaches to design for behavioral health and psychiatric care.
