Vince Gamboa Tameta

M.Arch.

Vince Gamboa Tameta joined Montgomery Sisam Architects in 2025 after completing his Master of Architecture at Toronto Metropolitan University. He brings a design‑forward approach supported by strong visual and technical skills and previous practice experience in institutional and higher‑education environments.

Since joining the firm, Vince has expanded his practice through work in the housing sector. He has served as project BIM lead and has contributed to the design development, coordination, and documentation with a strong focus on thoughtful, well‑resolved design at both conceptual and technical scales.

Outside of project work, Vince is an active mentor and contributor to the design community. He has supported more than 40 students through TMU’s co‑op program, served as Creative Director for 325 Magazine, and contributed to the Toronto Society of Architects’ inaugural future‑ready design guide. Across these roles, he brings the same commitment to shared learning and professional growth that he brings to his work in practice.

Vince’s graduate work examined Philippine architecture through themes of identity, hybridity, and cultural practice, earning recognition through several national and international awards. This background informs his interest in how design can meaningfully reflect the perspectives and experiences of the communities it serves. He continues to explore opportunities to bring Filipino perspectives forward within the architectural profession. His curiosity about cultural narratives and lived experience strengthens his collaborative approach to design.
