Philip A. Wharton

M.Arch., LEED GA

Phil joined Montgomery Sisam in 2016, experienced in all stages of project development, from master planning and approvals processes through construction documentation and contract administration.

With strong communication, facilitation and design skills, Phil works across a range of sectors, often on highly complex projects that require high levels of consultation and coordination with clients, consultant and contractors. He has supported the Humber School of Applied Technology Renovations, the City of Toronto Long Term Care Capital Maintenance Program, and the Bais Yaakov Elementary School Addition. Building on this experience, he has assumed large roles on Presentation Manor, the Toronto French School Capital Renewal Projects and the St. Andrews College McLaughlin Hall Renovation.

Phil regularly draws inspiration and expertise from his larger body of work that includes several large-scale, high profile international projects and award-winning competition submissions. With this experience in hand, he recognizes the potency of combining local passion with a global perspective to create invigorating and enduring designs.
