Mitchell Cairns-Spicer is an OAA Architect who joined Montgomery Sisam in 2020 following the completion of his Master of Architecture at Toronto Metropolitan University. Mitchell brings extensive experience in long-term care design, project delivery, and building science, with a particular focus on supporting complex healthcare and seniors’ living projects from design through construction.

Since joining the firm, Mitchell has played a key role in the development and implementation of clients’ BIM and drawing standards, helping to establish consistent documentation, coordination, and quality control processes across multiple projects. His technical expertise is supported by a strong background in building science and building envelope performance, allowing him to contribute to both design development and technical problem-solving throughout project delivery.

Mitchell combines strong technical knowledge with a collaborative approach to project leadership, supporting clients and project teams in delivering high-quality long-term care environments that are durable, efficient, and responsive to the needs of residents and staff.
