M.Arch., OAA
Luchen joined Montgomery Sisam in 2021 and brings with her significant expertise gleaned from a diverse portfolio of projects. With over six years of professional experience, she has worked on both renovation and new construction projects in the commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors, contributing to all phases from design to construction.
Luchen follows a holistic design approach, focusing equally on the general aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and craftsmanship of a building, and stives to find the right balance between these qualities to achieve an ideal solution in every scenario. She believes that design is not just about problem-solving, but also about asking yourself the right questions. She is passionate about working on community-oriented and educational projects that contribute to the well-being of their users.
Since joining Montgomery Sisam, Luchen has been an integral team member for the Rekai Centres Cherry Place long-term care home, where she focused on designing the exterior envelope, coordinating with consultants, and producing working drawings for permit and tender. She is also contributing to the early design phases of the Ronald McDonald House office fit-up and to the True Davidson Acres renovation.
Luchen is proficient in a wide range of architectural software including Revit and AutoCAD, and is a registered architect with the OAA.
