Innis College Expansion and Renewal Development Study
Kathy joined Montgomery Sisam in 2018 after completing her Master’s in Architecture at Ryerson University. She is experienced in working with a variety of building typologies, including commercial, residential and institutional projects.
Kathy’s strong visual representation and problem-solving skills coupled with her careful attention to detail lend themselves well to the design phases of project development. She was integral member of the University of Toronto, Innis College Expansion and Renewal Development Study team, producing plans, renderings and diagrams for a complex addition and renovation to an existing building with complex heritage conditions. She also assisted in the design development and production of contract documents, including exterior details, interior details, millwork drawings and consultant coordination for the pioneering Peel Manor Seniors Health and Wellness Village.
Appreciation and understanding for how users interact with space figures prominently in Kathy’s work. She works diligently to craft spaces that are rich in material and tactile qualities and lend themselves to positive sensory experiences.
