Jake Pauls Wolf
Jake joined Montgomery Sisam in 2023 with several years of project management and design experience on community-directed projects, including pavilions, shelters, affordable housing and a new home for indigenous elders in the Northwest Territories. Jake is also a former carpenter with a decade’s experience in trade work. He brings a thorough knowledge of and skill in detailing, identifying effective ways to express an architectural idea, and seeing the integrity of this idea through implementation.
Jake has a deep understanding of and facility for working with user groups, community organizations and other stakeholders. He is committed in his practice to developing design solutions that reflect and respond to their needs and values and contribute architecture of social value. Since joining Montgomery Sisam, Jake has been a major contributor to the 100 Pine Street affordable housing project as well as seeing Hamilton Passive House Modular Living and Durham Modular Supportive Housing.
Jake has a strong interest in sustainable design, in particular embodied carbon reduction strategies. He is experienced in conducting embodied carbon life cycle assessments on behalf of clients to support more environmentally and economically conscious material choices.
