Daniela joined Montgomery Sisam in 2023 with 5 years’ industry experience working across all phases of design. She brings from this experience excellent knowledge of municipal and provincial regulatory frameworks, including zoning-by laws, the Ontario Building Code and Ministry of Long Term Care Design Standards.
Since joining Montgomery Sisam, Daniela has played an integral role on several seniors housing projects, including the new Arch-Corp Orleans Long-term Care home and Seaton Long-term Care. She works diligently from the initial stages of a project to capture clients’ creative visions and align its design objectives with practical considerations. She is particularly effective in space planning, able to optimize programme and functional efficiency within a given footprint. She also demonstrates strong technical skills, creating accurate and well-detailed drawings. Daniela brings tremendous precision to every aspect of her work and takes pride in producing high caliber documentation.
Daniela’s work in architecture is informed by her belief that the places and spaces we inhabit have a profound impact on our wellbeing and quality of life. In continuing to learn and grow as designer, she is committed developing a design practice that contributes positively to the human experience.
Daniela is an active member of the design community and a registered intern architect pursuing her licensure with the OAA.
