Sheridan College’s Student Union featured in The Globe and Mail

Sheridan College’s student union building at the Hazel McCallion Campus in Mississauga, Ontario, has been featured in The Globe and Mail. Daniel Ling of Montgomery Sisam Architects and Will Klassen of Moriyama and Teshima Architects alongside Jamie King, Managing Director of the Sheridan Student Union, had the pleasure of touring Dave LeBlanc of The Globe and Mail through the 70,000 square foot building. On the walk-through, Dave was given the ins and outs of what it’s like to design a building of this magnitude. The conversation covered everything from initial design concepts to the selection of material finishes as well as the fundamental role Sheridan Mississauga Students played in making the building feel like home and part of the greater campus fabric.
