Seneca College Magna Hall celebrates Grand Opening

Magna Hall officially opened its doors on Thursday with a vibrant celebration that included students, faculty and community members as well as David Agnew, Seneca President, King Mayor Steve Pellegrini, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities Merrilee Fullerton, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan and John Crowell, Manager of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs, Magna International.

The opening of the new facility will allow students and faculty to take advantage of 25 classrooms, computer labs, specialty healthcare training labs, a library, learning commons as well as new, multi-purpose athletic and recreation areas. This rich and varied programming is complemented by a variety of informal gathering and study spaces where students can interact, organize activities and learn in a more casual setting.

This project was completed in joint venture with MJMA.
