Montgomery Sisam is proud to share some exciting news!!
Two of our projects, Beaverton Heights Modular Transitional Housing (Beaverton, Ontario) and Koffler Scientific Reserve (King City, Ontario) were both shortlisted and ultimately selected as winners of the 2026 OAA Design Excellence Awards from 96 submissions.
Selected by a distinguished jury of design experts, these projects were recognized for their strength across key criteria including creativity, context, sustainability, good design / good business, and legacy.
A defining part of this year’s evaluation was the inclusion of Energy Use Intensity (EUI) metrics reinforcing the importance of measurable performance and accountability in shaping a more sustainable built environment.
We’re honoured to see this work acknowledged alongside so many inspiring projects, and grateful to our collaborators, our community and our team who made it possible.
