Addressing a critical shift in how and why materials are selected, Gabrielle Rossit will lead a seminar entitled, Materials in Context: Priorities and Criteria for Selection, at this year’s IIDEX Canada.IIDEXCanada is Canada’s National Design and Architecture Exposition & Conference, co-presented by IDC, Interior Designers of Canada and RAIC, Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. The annual show focuses on all areas of design including workplace, healthcare, hospitality, retail, residential, education, architecture, landscape architecture, lighting and sustainability, wellness and accessibility.
Leveraging extensive industry experience and a passion for understanding materials, Gabrielle’s seminar will demystify the current complexities that plague material selection processes and define an alternative language of materials, one that is reflective of current regulations, standards and technical specifications and achieves healthy built environments that are beautiful and sustainable.
Materials in Context: Priorities and Criteria for Selection will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
