Montgomery Sisam Principal Enda McDonagh Featured Guest on Passive House Accelerator Podcast

Montogomery Sisam Principal Enda McDonagh, a Certified Passive House Consultant, was recently featured as a special guest on the Passive House Podcast.

The podcast is produced by Passive House Accelerator LLC, a global network which “cultivate(s) a collaborative platform for sharing innovation and thought leadership in Passive House design and construction.” The organization is responsible for producing a variety of programming, publications, and media for all members of the zero-carbon building movement – with an emphasis on encouraging information-sharing between practitioners, institutions, manufacturers, and members of the public interested in working towards a more sustainable future through the construction industry. The Passive House Accelerator Podcast is hosted by Matthew Cutler-Welsh as well as Passive House Accelerator Director Zack Semke.

Enda joined Matthew to discuss Montgomery Sisam’s ongoing work with CityHousing Hamilton on the Hamilton Passive House Modular Housing project. The conversation explored the completely pre-fabricated and modular project’s unique sustainability challenges and opportunities, its approach to achieving Passive House certification, as well as Enda’s career and practice – weaving between his education in Dublin, Ireland through to his work in Toronto today.
