Hamilton Passive House Modular Housing receives its Certified Passive House Classic Designation

Providing deeply affordable supportive housing, 253 King William Street has achieved the prestigious Certified Passive House Classic designation. As the architects for this project, working in collaboration with NRB Modular Solutions, Peel Passive House and CityHousing Hamilton, the achievement marks an important milestone not only for our firm, but also for the City of Hamilton and Ontario as a whole. This project is the third Passive House certified multi-residential building in the province and the second in Hamilton to receive this highly regarded certification.

The Certified Passive House Classic designation represents the highest standard in energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. By achieving this certification, this project joins a select group of buildings that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to reducing energy consumption while providing comfortable and healthy living spaces. This accomplishment underscores our ongoing dedication to advancing the principles of sustainable design.

We are proud to be part of a growing movement that is reshaping the way we approach architecture and urban development. This recognition not only highlights the success of 253 King William Street but also reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, environmentally responsible solutions for all our projects. We are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sustainable architecture.
