Montgomery Sisam is proud to announce that construction is officially underway on the CHEO Integrated Treatment Centre, following a groundbreaking ceremony held nearing the end of April 2025.
This landmark, a $371 million dollar redevelopment, will consolidate services from various locations into one 233,000 sq. ft., 6-storey building on CHEO’s main campus in Ottawa, offering integrated, seamless care for children and youth with complex medical, developmental, behavioural, and mental health needs.
Designed to be safe, inclusive, and intuitive, the Centre features a welcoming arrivals court, play and therapy terraces inspired by local waterfalls, vibrant lobby filled with art, playful nooks, and calming natural light, efficient circulation with distinct entrances for families, staff, and programs, a new home for CHEO School and the Indigenous Gathering Place.
Set to complete in 2028, this facility redefines how healthcare spaces can heal, connect, and empower families all under one roof.
