Principal, Alice Liang and Senior Interior Designer, Gabrielle Rossit join an exceptional panel of industry subject matter experts to discuss the Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) process and its impact on the building industry.
Together with Alice and Gabrielle, Jennifer Clark, Executive Director of Planning, Design and Operational Improvement at CAMH, Marcia Medrano, Project Director at CAMH, Ron Mar, Principal at Stantec Architecture, and Jason Pagnutti, Construction Risk Manager at PCL, will discuss their roles, challenges and successes in working as an integrated team on the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Phase 1C project. The seminar aims to bring to light the effects of the AFP process on the design and performance of buildings.
Phase 1C is the continuation of an innovative, multi-phased redevelopment initiative launched by CAMH back in 2001 to transform its 27 acre campus into a nine-block urban village. This third phase of implementation introduces two new buildings – a Complex Care Building (B1) and an Acute Care Building (D1) – to the Queen Street Site. The project is slated for completion in 2021.
IIDEX Canada will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from the 29th to the 31st of November. For more details on this and other seminars or to find out how to register, please visit: https://www.thebuildingsshow.com/en/seminars/seminar-program.html
