Rosalie Dawson studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design where she received the Gold Medal Award of Excellence in her 4th year. She also holds a Masters of Architecture, specializing in sustainable design, from the University of Calgary. Joining Montgomery Sisam in 2008, Rosalie has been an integral member of the project team for St. John’s Rehab Hospital, a 70,000 sq ft renovation and addition to Toronto’s specialized rehabilitation hospital. She has also worked on a program of Long Term Care projects for Prince Edward Island. Rosalie and the Montgomery Sisam team collaborated with the PEI government to develop province wide design standards. Rosie was the Project Manager for 4 Long Term Care homes across the Province. As Project Manager she was involved in all aspects of the projects from design to liaising with clients, consultants, and user-groups. Currently, Rosie is heavily involved in the design and documentation of various projects for the Toronto District School Board including renovations and additions to Eglinton Public School and Guildwood Public School. She is also contributing to the Contract Administration of renovations to Maurice Cody Public School and Hodgson Senior Public School. Rosalie is currently Sessional Faculty at the Ontario College of Art and Design University in the Environmental Design program.
