Dave Saunders

A recent addition to our team, Dave was awarded a Banff Arts Centre Residency for an intensive architectural landscape study in 2006.

He contributes a comprehensive North American perspective to our firm having worked in Los Angeles, New York, Ottawa and Toronto and has a broad understanding of sustainable design.  His experience includes   the design of a 3000 panel solar array taken from schematic design through to construction documents.  He has also contributed to affordable housing and office projects with an emphasis on LEED requirements ensuring they were in compliance with the Energy Conservation Code.

Highly technically proficient, Dave is able to use a broad variety of software to help clients visualize their projects including Revit and Rhino.  Dave has utilized these skills as part of our team for the planning, design and compliance (PDC) phase of the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Athletes’ Village as well as for  a long term care home currently being constructed for Extendicare Canada.  Most recently, Dave has been working on a series of renovations and additions for the Toronto District School Board.
