Take a look at our recent renderings for St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital

St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH) is transforming their facilities to make way for a much needed expansion.  The new three-storey addition and renovation will include the construction of an Emergency Department, Surgical Suite, Sterile Processing Department, and a permanent home to their Mental Health and Addiction Program.  The Hospital’s vision is to transform their care, and create the capability to sustain and continue to improve their quality of care and services for many years to come.

Kahler Slater + Montgomery Sisam Architects are working with STEGH on the design of the new addition.

Last month, the STEGH Foundation launched public fundraising campaign in their Atrium to raise $13 million for the new expansion.  The event was a huge success, as STEGH proudly announced they raised more than $10 million.  To conclude the festivities, a balloon was launched from the roof of the Hospital, which carried a payload of donor mementoes 30 km up in the atmosphere.
