Montgomery Sisam are excited to start work on the new mental health facility for Vancouver Coastal Health – the Joe and Rosalie Segal Pavilion at the Vancouver General Hospital Campus

Working in collaboration with Vancouver’s local firm dys architecture, Montgomery Sisam is excited to begin development of the new mental health pavilion for Vancouver Coastal Health.

The new 100 bed Pavilion will provide a healing and therapeutic environment for those struggling with mental health issues. It will also support the Hospital’s commitment to improving patient care by consolidating the majority of acute psychiatric services in one state-of-the-art facility.

At Montgomery Sisam all of our projects for those with special needs share a fundamental philosophy in their approach: our goal is always to create normalized settings that are reassuring and empowering for patients, but also supportive for staff and families, as well as engaging the community.

We will bring these guiding principles to the design of the new Segal Health Centre , creating an environment that fosters wellness and focuses on patients’ recovery.
